I don't think anyone really reads this blog, since I stopped keeping it up like I should.
But for what its worth... St. Elizabeth's Church is still going strong at Vanadium Woods in Bridgeville PA.
You can join us any time.
Except this Sunday... church is cancelled due to illness among the residents.
Phooey.

Alicia

I'm just posting to let you all know that Alicia Ahart passed away on Sunday at about 2:30 in the afternoon.  Alicia was one of our founding members, parish treasurer, and first StEAM member to receive the Archbishop's Service Award.

Please keep Tony in your prayers.

Funeral will be at 2:00 on Saturday, but it is likely that a requiem will be held at St.Elizabeth's in the near future.  I will post here when times and dates are known.

Christmas Day: Holy Eucharist

Oh the shoppers out there are frightful
And our Advent was quite delightful
And since we sure won't have snow,
To Christmas Mass you should go
You should go!

Oh the Pittsburgh sun won't shine bright,
but did I mention there won't be a storm
If you want to start the day off right
9 AM. Eucharist.  Christmas morn.

Top Ten Reasons to Come to Easter Mass at StEAM!

10.  Its at 9:0O instead of the usual 11:15, which for some of us may as well be a Sunrise  service.
9.  This year the altar frontal will NOT be held together with safety pins.  (I didn't say it was finished, but it is pin free!)
8.  There will be no liturgical dance. None.
7.  There will be altar flowers!  Yea for FLOWERS!!!
6.  We get to say that "A- Word" again! 
5.  Lent isn't over until you've been to Easter Mass.  (Because I say so, that's why!)
4. A special guest soloist will amaze and astonish you (hopefully in a good way... he's ten!) with "Ode to Joy!"
3.  The deacon hasn't spilt the wine in weeks... she's over due for a big one.  Kind of like the San Andreas Fault.
2.  Acolyte antics.  God helps us all.

1.  Christ is risen from the dead, the first fruits of them that sleep... for by his death he has destroyed death and by his rising to life he has won for us life everlasting!

Anglican Church in North America shared Anglican Relief & Development Fund's photo.

Hurricane Sandy relief continues in New Jersey.

Another shout-out from Covenant Chapel REC in Basking Ridge, New Jersey--our partner in Hurricane Sandy relief work!

ARDF has sent over $26,000 to three parishes in the area to support their relief efforts.

Thanks to the Covenant Chapel youth group for their faithfulness!
